About me
Mura (Ana Fornoga) is an illustrator and ceramist based in Bucharest, Romania. Her work is inspired by everyday life, often featuring intricate details, mischievous cats, thriving plants, and characters who genuinely enjoy themselves.
She primarily works digitally, moving fluidly between textured brushes and clean vector lines. Alongside illustration, she also creates porcelain jewelry and other ceramic pieces — happily getting her hands dirty in the process.
Ana holds a degree from the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and previously worked as a graphic designer in a small studio. She’s been working as a freelance illustrator for over 10 years, collaborating with a wide range of clients and brands across publishing, advertising, and cultural sectors. These experiences taught her to be adaptable and flexible, while also honing a sharp eye for detail and composition.
She lives with two black cats, loves parmesan, and never — ever — misses a Formula 1 weekend. Just like the characters she draws, she enjoys a good book, traveling, and baking lemony cookies.
